Downloadable output for Customized Products

  1. Applied to PDF Blocks and XMPie products.
  2. This option is set at the Product setup page.
  3. Users will be able to download the created PDF after they place the order.
  4. A link is provided at the confirmation page (after placing the order) to take the users to the Order Detail page to download the file.
  5. Users can access these files anytime through the order control centre.

Downloadable output for companies with Gatekeeper enabled

Users will be able to preview the output only. According to the product setting, this preview can be watermarked. The downloadable output will not be available until a Gatekeeper releases the order.

Downloadable output with multiple records

  1. It is recommended at this time to set the company for automatic processing (after placing the order or releasing it by a gatekeeper). This way, the user will have one link to download the file.
  2. For companies with Auto process off, the user will have to click a button and select a range (default: all records) to create the file.
  3. For PDF Blocks, step 2 will always be available, whereas for XMPie products step 2 can only be performed once as the file would be saved and ready for download anytime this page is accessed.
  4. Producers can also process jobs at the backend manually and make them readily available to users (assuming Auto process off).

Downloadable output: Future enhancements

  1. For multiple records jobs, a table is displayed to show multiple processed jobs (just like the one in Production). This will help enforce batching especially for XMPie products. This is also useful for the user to create smaller files by selecting few records each time.
