Products can now share the same extra option so that extra options don’t have to be added to products individually.
Go to Manage Producer > Options > Shared Options.
Click on Add Shared Option. Add the Option and the Child Records.
The products can be linked to the shared option from the Link Products link
Select the option(s).
Select the product(s).
Add to Existing Shared Options - This will add to any existing shared options in the products.
Overwrite Existing Shared Options is the default selection. This will delete any existing shared options in the products and replace with the new shared options.
Remove Options from Selected Products – This will delete any existing shared options in the products for the option that is selected.
The products can also be linked to the shared option from company > Options > Link Shared Options to Products. This goes to the same page as above.
A product can also be linked to the shared option from the individual product.
Click on the link for New Options Page. Note: This page will eventually replace the old extra options page.
Click on Add New Options
Select Shared from the Display Type dropdown.
Choose the Shared Option from the dropdown and Save.
