Create a discount based on item or price sets

To set this up do the following:

 1. In the company settings click the options tab and select discounts

2. Click the Company Settings tab

3. Next you need to choose your product combine method 

Combine Item on Same Products in Cart: Will add up the quantities of items that share the same product ID in the cart and apply the appropriate price break from the price set 

Combine Items on Same Price set: Will add up the quantities of items that share the same Price set in the cart and apply the appropriate price break from the price set 

Combine Items on Same Products or Same Price Set in Cart: Both options above together.

Please note that this will apply the discount to all products unless you exclude individual products on the individual product 

To exclude a product from the discount 

1. From the manage products page click to edit the product you want to exclude from the discount. 

2. Scroll down to the Pricing section on the edit page and tick the boxes to exclude the items from the discount
