Gatekeeper by Product

It is possible to have two different Gatekeepers for two different products in the same company.

I.E. Product A is approved by Gatekeeper A and Product B is approved by Gatekeeper B.

This uses product shipping groups as this will split the order when product A and B are ordered at the same time.

Go to the company shipping set up page. There is a tab 'Shipping Groups'.

Click on 'Add New Group'.

Fill in the Group Name field.

Select the gatekeeper(s) or group gatekeeper(s) that should be emailed when a product in the group is ordered. Save.

Click on 'Link Groups to Products'.

Select the product(s) you want to link to a shipping group.

Select the group from the drop down on the right.

Click on 'Update Selected Products'.

Click on the Shipping tab in the top menu.

Note: The shipping group can also be set in product advanced in the Shipping section.

You will have to duplicate a shipping method for each shipping group.

Use the pencil icon to edit the shipping method that you want to use for a specific group.

Select the group from the 'Shipping Group' drop down.

Click on Save.

IMPORTANT: In company advanced in the order related section, the following shipping settings must be checked unless you are using Alternate Shipping in which case the last 2 don't need to be checked.

Alternate shipping is recommended as the user can enter a manual address on the shipping page.

If a product is not in a shipping group then all gatekeepers will be emailed (same as without product shipping groups defined).
