Users can be set to use different price sets in the same company.
On the price set page there has always been price 2 and price 3, these were designed so that a product could be shared across companies and show different prices.
Now there is the ability to set users in the same company to use different price sets using the price 2 and price 3 functionality.
To set the user to a price set there is a Price Member drop down in the user profile.
Please note that this price set will not be used if Gatekeeper edits job unless the Gatekeeper is in same Price Member.
The label of the Price Member can be set by using the Assign Member Labels on the Price Set page
When the user places the order the actual prices in the order are shown everywhere however we do save what the job price and order price would have been had price set 1 had been used. This shows in the backend end order details in addition to the price paid and can be added to the template emails using keywords {OriginalJobPrice},{OriginalJobTotalPrice},{OriginalOrderPrice},{OriginalOrderTotalPrice}.
This functionality can also be useful if you have a Broker/Dealer who pays you a lower price than the customer. You would set the users to use price set 2 or 3 and use the default price set for a reduced Broker/Dealer price. The Broker/Dealer could see their price in the template email (after the keywords have been added to the email template that is used).
