By default the status email is a generic email that can be sent when the production status changes. It simply states "your orde is in production, shipping or billing. Some customers would like the shipping notification to contain a tracking number or other information pertaining to the specific status. To achieve this custom status email need to be created.
To create a custom status email:
1. go to manage companies and click to edit the company
2. In the menu select email and design
3. Click on Custom status messages. There you will see the statuses that will be customized
You can now write a custom status message using html.
Hint: if you do not know html then use the email designer to write the email and then copy the html into the custom email
Write your email using the key words you want to pull
Then click the html tab
Then copy and paste the html into the custom email
Important** Once you are done $CustomStatusMessage$ must be put in the Action email to tell the system to use the custom emails
