ePowers default security settings requie a minimum of 5 characters for both Username and passwords and allows for both small case and capital letters, numbers 0-9 and these special characters _\-@$!. Occasionally customers prefer higher or lower security settings and can then customize the settings themselves.
To customize the security settings:
1. Click the edit icon for the company you want to customize the security for.
2. Under the Options tab select security
3. Check the Customize Log in box
The Error Text Symbol can be either text or a symbol that displays under the field that is filled in incorrectly.
The user name section applies to the user name and the error message will display if the user trys to submit incorrect information
In the password section you can set minimum characters, maximum characters, Minimum Capital Letter Characters and Minimum Special Characters
You can choose if you want Password Indicators on or off in the drop down. When set to Show Strength and match Indicators the system will indicate to the user if it thinks the password is weak or strong.
The error message will display if the user tries to submit a weak password.
In the email section you can customize the email format (leave blank for ePowers default)
The Error message will display if the user tries to submit an invalid format
