Sort order is set in the company settings main page - layout tab - Sort Order
The default is 'By Product Name'
You can also sort by:
By Date Created (Oldest to Newest)
By Date Created (Newest to Oldest)
By Product SKU
Custom (set in catalogue structure)
Custom will use the order that the products are set in the backend catalog structure page. To move products up and down go to the cataloge structure page then use the move up and move down arrows on the right of the products list. Note: Multiple selection is enabled here.
