This is a report that gets product information from the database. It is not connected to orders.
In the backend go to Reports > Design / Run Your Report.
Click on add new report.
In the 'Type' drop down select 'By Product'.
Leave 'State' as 'Hide' unless you want managers to be able to see the report.
'Company' can remain at 'All Companies' unless you want a manager in a certain company only to see the report.
Give the report a name. Select the columns you want in the report and click on 'Add'. The 'Mapped Column' field allows you to put in a friendly name for the column. Click on 'Save' to save the report .
To run click on the lighning bolt icon.
