Mailchimp Integration

Modified on Thu, Oct 26, 2023 at 4:56 PM

Go ePower/W2P Cloud lets you connect to Mailchimp. Each company in Go ePower would have its own mailing list of Mailchimp. (In order to have multiple Mailchimp mailing lists you may need to be on a paid version. )

SETUP

Create a Mailchimp Account by going to www.mailchimp.com

Once you are done the setup you need to get an API Key to put into Go ePower/W2P Cloud

API Key: Go to Account -> Extras -> API Keys

On the below image you will see that no API Key exists yet so just click on the "Create A Key" button.

In Go ePower enter the Mailchimp API key. Go to Producer Settings -> Options -> Plugin Accounts (You will need access to this if you do not see it. Contact Go ePower Support)

Once your key is connected you should now be able to view your MailChimp lists in ePower. Go to a Company Settings -> Options. Notice Mailchimp Settings.

Viewing Your Mailchimp Lists

Producer Settings -> Options -> Mailchimp Lists

This page will show you all your Mailchimp Lists that are connected between the two sites and various Mailchimp templates that can be designed within Mailchimp.

Connecting your Company Portal to Mailchimp

Each company portal would need to be connected individually to Mailchimp. Every company would be a separate list account in Mailchimp. Therefore each company portal on Go ePower would need to be setup separately.

Go to Company Settings -> Mailchimp Settings.

Here you can see all the members and subscribed users.

To Begin In Go ePower Create a New List

Then Name your New List (this will appear in Mailchimp) by default it will be the company name.

Once connected all the company's user's will appear. You will need to manually add the New Members to the Mailchimp list by clicking on the Add New Members button. This will include the user in the Mailchimp list. Remember all users have an opt out option. Only Mailchimp "Members" will get emailed.

User's that are not manually added as Members will not have the Mailchimp subscribe checked in their user profile.

Once an ePower user becomes a member you should be able to see them in Mailchimp. Check the Audience and subscriber's list.

Creating a Campaign in Mail Chimp
