Inventory Setup
Inventoried products can be managed in epower, this allows you to control your inventory so you can be notified when levels get low to re-order or re-stock.
In order for "manage inventory" to be active the system must have at least one product set up to be inventoried.
To set a product to be inventoried:
1. Click the edit icon for the product you want to inventory.
2. Scroll down to the inventory section and decide what options you want to enable.
a. Show availability: if checked will show the remaining inventory to the customers.
b. Inventoried: turns on Inventory
c. Shared Inventory: See Shared Inventory Below.
d. Inventory: Displays the amount inventoried.To update inventory you must click on the Manage Inventory button.
e. Re-order Quantity: When inventory gets to the level listed here the system will notify the producer the inventory is low.
Manage Inventory
Manage inventory allows you to update and manage all of your inventoried item in one place.
Once in Manage inventory you can add or remove inventory as needed and click update to save.
You can enter optional invoice No and Note for your own records.
IMPORTANT: Inventory is calculated by the quantity ordered x set size. So if the set size of an item is 250 and the user ordered 2 sets it will deduct 500 from inventory.
Manage Multiple Inventory Levels
Manage inventory allows you to update and manage all of your inventoried item in one place.
Manage Inventory can be accessed either by selecting Manage Inventory in the Product Menu.
Once in Manage inventory you can add or remove inventory as needed and click update to save.
You can choose to display only inventoried products or all products.
Adding Inventory adds quantities to whatever is there now. TO subtract inventory use the minus sign.
Manage Shared Inventory
This allows you to detract the same inventory from multiple products.
Go to Products -> Inventory -> Shared Inventory
Click on Manage Inventory
Fill out the Name, Description, Inventory and Notes (all for personal user).
Reorder Quantity will notify the producer email when quantities reach that number. Stock is selected from the producer stock section. Quantities in Stock is the current inventory level.
