Credit Limit can be set on the customer's account. This works only with the Store Credit billing type. The system will not allow placing of orders using this method if the order amount is greater than the credit. There is also company credit with this same billing type where any user that is set to use company credit can use up to the amount of company credit that is set on the main company settings page on the Settings tab.
