Method 1

Paying for a single order after the order has been placed.

There are 3 billing types for this:

Paid By Gatekeeper – The order will be pending until the Gatekeeper pays from the order detail page.

Paid By Dealer - The order will be pending until the Dealer pays from the order detail page.

Paid By Any - The order will be pending until any user that can see the order pays from the order detail page. This means Gatekeeper or Dealer or Manager can pay. Also, generic user with history can use this method as well. Note: The company does not have to be set to use Gatekeeper.

When any of these are selected for a billing method then there is a drop down underneath for Payment Method. This can be credit card or a cost center.

Two billing methods are needed. The one that the user sees on the billing page and the one that is used for payment.

Set up the method for payment from the order details page first. It is recommended that the Hide switch is used to hide the credit card or cost centre method on the billing page for the user who places the order.

Then set up the method that the user will see on the billing page. Use the first billing method as the Payment Method.

Method 2

Paying for a single order or multiple orders after the order(s) have been placed. This is only for Credit Card payments.

The setting is on the company Default page.

When the setting is enabled, the Order Control Centre Centre page will show a show a Pending Payment button.

On the Pending Payment page there is a checkbox on the right side of each order. The user can select one or more orders and then click on the Pay button. This will go to a credit card payment page.

Note: This method is not related to gatekeeper settings. Anyone that can see the order can pay.

It is recommended that the Hide switch is used to hide the credit card method on the billing page for the user who places the order unless they will be able to use the same credit card method at time of placing the order. A second method is needed if the user is to pay later.
